Is Next Page Literacy the Right Fit for Your Child?

“Is Next Page Literacy Right for My Child?”

If you're wondering whether your child would benefit from one of our programs, you're not alone. One of the most common questions parents ask is, "Is my child the right fit?"

The short answer is: probably.

At Next Page Literacy, we support learners at every stage of their literacy journey—from toddlers discovering the joy of language through play to older children, teens, and adults who need specialized reading intervention.

Early Literacy Foundations

Our play-based group programs are designed for toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten-aged children who are building the foundational skills that support future reading success. These programs are perfect for children who enjoy learning through songs, stories, games, and hands-on activities, as well as those who may benefit from a little extra support before reading begins.

Children Who Need a Boost

Some children work hard but still find reading or spelling more difficult than expected. They may avoid reading, struggle to sound out words, or seem to be falling behind their peers. Individualized structured literacy intervention can help build the skills and confidence they need to become successful readers.

Dyslexia and Language-Based Learning Differences

Structured literacy intervention is especially well suited for learners with dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities or differences. Using the Barton Reading & Spelling System—an Orton-Gillingham–based structured literacy program—instruction is explicit, systematic, and individualized to meet each learner where they are.

Not Sure?

You don't need a diagnosis to seek support. If you have concerns about your child's literacy development or simply aren't sure which program is the best fit, we'd be happy to help you find the right starting point.

Every child's journey is different. Our goal is to meet learners where they are, celebrate progress along the way, and help build the confidence that comes with success.
